Design feedback for Jupiter

11/4 Design Meeting Feedback

• Some description needed for event on homepage for more info

• Jupiter logo in navbar not lined up with nav buttons

• Should have autocomplete dropdown for Homepage search bar

• Directory

  • Images in Directory weirdly sized

  • Tags - should be lighter weight on the tags in the Directory

  • Title on each card should be bold(er?)

  • Tags take too much attention

  • Less primary color for tags

  • Hover effect detracts from cards

  • Top.gg and disboard for inspiration for directory

  • What org is doing is the most important part - not image

    • Could save users time by showing a description directly in the directory

    • Could take inspiration from the official SOC directory

  • Category - unclear

    • Look at University org directory to see what they do

  • Tags - 

    • When orgs are added to database, associate them with tags - org admins could add tags to their org so that we don’t have to create tags

    • Should we have these at all?

    • Categories should be main focus

    • Maybe only show these in directory detail page

• Org detail page

  • Contact buttons could be smaller

• Events page

  • Room at the top for a larger search bar
