William: showed UTD Trends

Ask: how can we get feedback to improve product from engineering & design?

Shaini: why should we use Trends

William: lets you aggregate data from multiple sections

Also shows rate my professor data

Shaini: why don’t we use UTD Grades?

Steph: we don’t own UTD Grades

Abhi: show stonk graph

• Show which courses are trending right now / most popular

Caleb: course recommendation??

Hilary: only limited to 3 professors?

William: just hardcoded we can increase

William: use apex-charts for the charts

• Many different charts

Hilary: are all these professors active?

William: it shows everyone

Hilary: maybe show just active profs

Shaini: show a dashboard given a major to show all the hottest courses

Hilary: improve Trends through customization

Maybe add features to customize their academic experience

Caleb: maybe integrate Planner & Trends by allowing users to import their plan in Trends

Steph: did you log the user data?

William: during launch event no :( 

William: person suggested showing related classes but had to scrap to launch

Steph: likes UTD grades bc it has all the courses on the side

Shaini: why does the box plot graph there?

Consensus: show less data

Need to figure out what people want + user surveys

Abhi: show number of available seats for each course

Shaini: general survey good

Hilary: give deadlines LOL

Shaini: ask undergrad & masters?

William: yes we can do both

Steph: having comments would be nice

William: want to provide context to the data

Caleb: focus groups are a good idea

Abhi & Shaini: like to see most popular courses

Abhi: Are UTD Trends just courses? I think of all the trends on campus?

Steph: in the future add more info; currently just grades
