Onboarding

• Everyone needs Confluence access, Figma for designers and GiHub for engineers

  • Please forward this info to @William Skaggs if you haven’t already

  • Sending out some resource invites

• General skill level discussion

  • Everyone is familiar with GitHub

    • See GitFlow

  • Likely refresher of React/Tailwind/etc

  • First few weeks are expected to be slower, good opportunity to find opportunities for learning

• Expect about 5 hours/week

Trends features

• Fall 2023 - Trends Feature Prioritization Matrix (Trends)

  • Business value points - 1,2,3,5,8 (least to most valued)

  • Need to distinguish between equally valued items

  • Grade distributions

    • how many people had a specific grade

    • Likely more difficult due to many new elements

  • Filtering

    • Likely need design input, but not easier engineering-wise

  • What are story points?

    • similar to business value points - measure of effort it takes to complete

    • Ex (8 in business value and 1 in story points is ideal)

    • Person weeks is similar to story points
