Engineering Division Check-In

How are you?

• 17 hours has been a lot this semester

• Pretty exam heavy classes, and especially over the last two weeks

Helping out w/ Planner

• Overall really well

• Kevin left a good foundation, so they have been able to operate pretty well without him

• Should be there for a couple more weeks, but overall fine

• Planner is doing alright without Kevin, and Jason should be able to let them go on their own in a couple of weeks

GitHub Team Setup Status

• Nothing has happened with it over the last couple of weeks

• Still need to discuss with some of the leads before implementing

• Isn’t a high priority compared to what needs to be done with logging

• Jason will work to confirm this is something that all leads want

• Finals / Winter Break will be a good time to work on this and have it fully ready to go in the spring

Axiom

• Did some research into it and decided it would be great way to resolve the Vercel log issues

• The first premium tier would work for our organization, so this is something we should definitely get going

• Instead of dumping money at Vercel we can make this investment to solve the logging issue

• Jason will set this up for the teams so it can become a standard tool for everyone

General state of the Engineering division

• Jason has been keeping an eye on what has been going on within projects, and overall things seem to be fine compared to the rest of the divisions
